We have to say this is one of the better offers we’ve seen. Murray likes hard courts – it’s the surface that he has reached both of his Grand Slam finals on, losing to Roger Federer at the start of the year in the Australian Open – and when it wasn’t blistering heat in Toronto he did manage to beat both Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Stan James have already been stung this way when Nadal won the French Open without dropping a set. They could be living in fear this time too.
