PKR, the leading 3D poker website, is undergoing major upgrade with the launch of it’s second generation of software 2.0.
From what we’ve seen, it does look a significant improvement on the old PKR with a more comfortable and friendly interface.
It still won’t stop players stacking you after some frankly insane pre-flop calls, but in our experience, that’s part of the magic of playing there.
Leon Walters, the PKR Head of Development, said: “It makes the site much more usable and fun – it will be quicker and slicker and we’ve responded to feedback about multi-tabling.”
Having checked them out, there is no doubt the multi-tabling screens are a massive improvement. The maximum number of tables available used to be four, but that has been increased to six 3D tables, which is great news for cash game and bonus grinders especially.
As well as the improvements in game play, PKR also promise to “hook into the social gaming aspect.” The site has already done its best to get a live community going, with special live events that you could only qualify for through PKR satellites.
