Published on July 30, 2010 by   ·   No Comments

A new report claims that there can still be considerable expansion in the world of Online Casinos over the next four years despite global uncertainty and the recession.

The Global Business of Online Casinos report claims that by the end of 2010, the online casino market will be worth $4.7 bn, rising to a whopping $7.1 bn by December 2014.

The report was put together by igaming Business and says that media companies are among those who are looking to move into the online gaming sector to compete with the more “traditional” brands.

Female gamblers are seen as one area where online gaming can grow, with the expanding bingo market providing considerable evidence of that already, while its also predicted that social networking and mobile gaming applications can also generate more revenue.
