Betfred Bingo is launching a new “team bingo” concept as of tomorrow (1st August).
The games will run twice a week, on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday nights. Players will be allocated to teams at random, once they e-mail the Betfred Bingo team to say they would like to be included, with the teams consisting of five players.
Each time a player has a bingo win in the team play time they will collect points for their team as well as an additional £1 bonus. The most successful team at the end of each week will share a prize pot of £50.
The team bingo is free to enter and will be running initially as a trial period. If it’s a success then Betfred are considering increasing the weekly team prize to £250.
It sounds like a good idea to us – there’s no cost and it might encourage bingo players to make some new friends as they play.
