World Poker Tour looks for “public face”

The World Poker Tour is taking the brave step of looking at the general public as they try and find a host for a new segement of their TV coverage.

The WPT are inviting the public to submit their videos on Facebook to host the “Raw Deal” segment, with potential candidates encouraged to be “opinionated and outspoken”. Yes, we are hiding behind the sofa at this point.

The WPT website has a video of a hand between Phil Hellmuth and Andy Seth and are invitng viewers to given their “pull no punches” assessment in a 45 second video that will be uploaded onto the social networking site.

Viewers can vote for their favourite, with the top 10 going straight to auditions with the Tour and a chance to make a breakthrough onto the poker broadcasting stage.
